Association of basketball clubs of Ukraine "Superleague" jointly with Federation of basketball of Ukraine is engaged in organization and holding of XIX Basketball Championship of Ukraine among the male teams of "Superleague" of season 2009-2010, the Cup of "Superleague", other basketball competitions on territory of Ukraine. - Sale-purchase of Ukrainian Insurance Group is completed

The transaction on the sale of IC the "Ukrainian Insurance Group" to TBIH Financial Services Group was completed on December 15th 2009. Having realized option, Dutch investment company bought 38% of shares of the company from Ukrainian shareholders.
In this transaction Firm "Puzanov and Partners" acted as a legal adviser of group of shareholders-salespeople.
Legal support of transaction was carried out by Alexander Puzanov and Helen Kuznechikova.
Before, on February 12th 2008, TBIH Financial Services Group bought 62% of shares of UIG back, and the support of this transaction was also carried out by our Firm.

By the decision of the Dneprovskiy district court of Kiev, left without changes by the Appeal court of Kiev, it is rejected to a folk deputy Vasiliy Gritsak in satisfying a claim about defence of honour, dignity and business reputation.
The subject of an action was refutation of unreliable information, given by Sergey Levochkin in an interview to the weekly «Focus» from 13.02.2009 about Mr. Gritsak.
A court considered the sayings of Sergey Levochkin in an address of Vasiliy Gritsak as evaluation judgements, critical estimation of facts and drawbacks of plaintiff.
In this trial Sergey Levochkin interests were defended by Alexander Puzanov, Luydmila Kukleva and Olga Spektor.

Our Firm continues a successful collaboration with one of the largest financial institutions of country – OJSB «UkrGasBank».
From September 2009 Firm began realization of the program of penalty of outstanding debt of bank clients on large credits judicially. Within the framework of the program the active involvement of lawyers of Firm is planned for presentation of interests of bank at all stages of trials.

The specialists of Firm gave legal aid on questions of including of the state in equity of OJSB «UkrGasBank» - a number of negotiations is conducted with Ministry of finance of Ukraine and his advisers, the mechanisms of the contractual regulation of relations of majority and minority shareholders are offered, a joint-stock contract is developed, projects of new statute and internal positions of Bank are analysed and corrected, consultation on solving of problematic aspects of realization of preferential right of shareholders on buying shares of new emission back are given etc.

- The Appeal Court of Kiev satisfied the complaints of Yuriy Boyko and Sergey Levochkin as to the defence of honour, dignity and business reputation of Victor Medvedchuk.

In lawsuit filed to the Pecherskiy District Court of Kiev, Victor Medvedchuk required to acknowledge untruthful information about his involvement in breaking of negotiations on supplying gas and required from Yuriy Boyko and Sergey Levochkin refutation of such information. On February, 11th 2009 a lawsuit was satisfied - in one judicial meeting which continuously proceeded more than 11 hours.
On April 21-st 2009 the Appeal Court of of Kiev revised the lawsuit, abolished the illegal decision of Pecherskiy Regional Court and fully refused Victor Medvedchuk in satisfaction of his requirements.
Interests of Sergey Levochkin in this trial were presented by attorneys Alexander Puzanov and Lyudmila Kukleva.

On March 4th 2009 the Shevchenko District Court of Kiev accepted a claim of public corporation OJSB "UkrGasBank" and acknowledged information spread on a site "The Ukrainian Truth" in the article of Vakhtang Kipiani "How they stole "Great Ukrainian" as not corresponding to reality and damaging business reputation of bank, and obliged the owner of site Helen Pritula to refute this information.

In the evening of 12th February 2008 the contract on acquisition of 62% shares of IC the "Ukrainian Insurance Group" by an investment company TBIH Financial Services Group (Vienna Insurance Group owns) was completed. An agreement foresees option on buying the rest of 38% shares.
On 14th November 2007 between the shareholders of the "Ukrainian Insurance Group" and TBIH Financial Services Group an agreement was signed about acquisition of 62% shares of the Ukrainian insurance company. On February 1st 2008 the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine gave the permission to TBIH Financial Services Group on acquisition of shares of insurer.
In this agreement a Firm "Puzanov and Partners" operated as a legal adviser of group of shareholders-salespeople on questions of the Ukrainian law. Legal support of transaction was carried out by a managing partner Alexander Puzanov, senior lawyers, Helen Kuznechikova and Irina Dyrdina.
